Carolin Diaz

Immigrating from the Dominican Republic to the US at a young age, I had to adapt to a new environment and learn a new language. As I became proficient in english, my parents soon became dependent on my support with translating. My parents taught me to keep pushing until you persevere, so in 2018 I was the first in my family to obtain a college degree in Digital Studio Arts. This work allowed me to implement a creative approach to coding projects. Adapting to changes and learning new things is very familiar to me, so technology is naturally the place where I thrive.
